Just as you are. Right where you are.

I have a friend. Well, I actually have a few friends...but I regress. Hmm. Let me put this another way.

We all have a friend that pulls our heartstrings. That one friend who doesn't know what their destination is, or even how on earth to get there. They're just moving one foot in front of the other, hoping to get through the next minute, hour, day, month, year. Life hasn't been fair, by any stretch of the imagination for them. They know it, and everyone around them knows it.

They may joke. They may make fun of themselves or others. They may drink, smoke or take drugs. They may cut or take extreme chances, but they're trying to find something, anything that fills the emptiness they feel. That emptiness could be the result of losing a spouse, a child or a parent. It could be because of abuse, the reasons are limitless. But, they have one thing in their lives that distinguishes them from anyone else. They  have you.

I'm talking to the Christians out there. I'm talking to myself, as well. Time is indeed getting short. Signs are popping up all around us pointing us to the coming of Christ. We need to be ready when He comes because sure as shootin' that old adage "He** on earth" will be reality. The one thing, though, is that we need to let folks know that they don't have to be left behind. God is willing to take them just as they are, right where they are...all they have to do is ask.

So, what is the question? Is Jesus your Savior? If not, then that's your question...ask Jesus to come into your heart. No hoops. No good works. No clean up. Just as you are, where you are. When Christ comes into your life, the clean-up becomes a work in progress. Things don't automatically cease and desist, although in some cases they can and do. The Holy Spirit works in you to create a clean heart. You want to move yourself away from the old habits, the bad place you once were in. You want to draw closer to Him. And as you draw closer, the things that were holding you back, holding you down now don't seem to be as important. God gives you clear vision, unblocked ears and more importantly, a tender heart.

So, I was saying...I have this friend. One that needs peace. One that needs our Savior. I have this friend that I'll be praying for, because I know that once this friend finds Jesus,  that friend will find the peace that surpasses all understanding. Not everything will be perfect, but in the end, they will see Perfection face-to-face when He comes to take us Home.

Be well, my friends. God bless.
