In Angel's saga, there always seems to be a snafu..

As usual a snag, snare, snafu, issue or whatever you want to call it had to appear. Its just the way this has gone from day one! As you know, Angel is now home in Korea with her family, but while she was in Tokyo, a snag came up. Praise God that it wasn't something that would delay her travel, but snafu it was. Apparently one of the rules that I was not told was that the kennels that animals travel in from Tokyo have to have ventilation on all four sides of the kennel. The one I got Angel only had ventilation on three sides. Sheesh! Again, Praise God that it was taken care of as soon as it was made known. The agents in Tokyo supplied a kennel that was within regulations for her to continue on to Korea, but getting her out of her kennel that we had purchased apparently was another matter.

Our Agent called to let us know that a few things were in the works, a couple of them I hope to show you in a couple of paragraphs (if I can get it to upload). The other was to tell me about the snafu. When they tried to get Angel into the other kennel, she wasn't going to budge. So, they took out her toys, her food, her water and her blanket...and she was plastered to the back of the kennel, snarling. They eventually got her into the other kennel, according to our Agent, rather unceremoniously. In my mind's eye I picture them holding one kennel up and open, her kennel up and open and tipped it, causing Angel to slide into the new one. I'm not sure that's how it went down, but if I were on that end trying not to get ripped to shreds, that's probably how I would have done it!

As you can see, Angel was happy to see her Sergeant. In the first picture it looks as if she's actually smiling! Our Agent uploaded a short video of the two of them seeing each other for the first time since December.

Well, that's about as good as its going to get for the video upload. Lol!

Yesterday, I was a little down about her having to go home. The first pictures that we got made that even worse. However, when our Agent called and told me how the trip went and the kennel transfer, I was glad that she was finally home.

So ends the saga of Angel, at least on our end. She will be missed here, a lot, but she looks to be incredibly happy to be back where she belongs!
