Another piece of fiction from a fictional writer....

Just for fun and to distract me from the fibro pains that are bugging the living tar out of me at the moment, I thought I would post this excerpt of a piece (with her permission, of course) from a writer who is struggling with the writing part. Enjoy Changing and heading to my plant table and my garden gloves, I almost tripped on the same pine cone that caused all of the doctor visits in the first place. Really, one would think that I would keep up better with the pine cones after the last episode, so I detoured to the garage and my lawn rake. After an hour or so, the lawn was devoid of leaves, pine needles and those evil little pine cones so I decided that it was time for a glass of tea, perhaps a glance at the paper. Heading back into the house, I noticed that I had not picked the mail up off of the entry floor, so I picked that up and put it on the desk with the intent of looking through it. Reaching for my reading glasses, I found that they were not in their usual place; eithe...

In every life some rain must fall....and fibro must flare.

So, I'm finding that I'm settling in to the fact that Angel is home where she belongs, but it is kind of quiet around here, with the exception of Gir taking off after one of her babies on occasion. Today, however, was one of those days when everything got to me. I woke up with a full blown migraine and  body aches. Go figure. So, instead of concocting evil plots in my pounding head to dispose of everything and everyone who is making the noise that makes my head throb even more, I opted to get rid of the headache. The other I deal with on a daily basis to some degree or another and I'm capable of ignoring most of it until it starts to turn in...

As usual a snag, snare, snafu, issue or whatever you want to call it had to appear. Its just the way this has gone from day one! As you know, Angel is now home in Korea with her family, but while she was in Tokyo, a snag came up. Praise God that it wasn't something that would delay her travel, but snafu it was. Apparently one of the rules that I was not told was that the kennels that animals travel in from Tokyo have to have ventilation on all four sides of the kennel. The one I got Angel only had ventilation on three sides. Sheesh! Again, Praise God that it was taken care of as soon as it was made known. The agents in Tokyo supplied a kennel that was within regulations for her to continue on to Korea, but getting her out of her kennel that we had purchased apparently was another matter. Our Agent called to let us know that a few things were in the works, a couple of them I hope to show you in a couple of paragraphs (if I can get it to upload). The other was to tell me about the ...
